Refund Policy

When and how BattleGrid issues refunds.

Last updated: July 2026. This page is maintained by BattleGrid.

Summary: Refunds are automatic wherever possible. Entry fees for cancelled or voided contests return to your wallet instantly. Duplicate charges reverse within 5–7 business days. Winning contests are non-refundable.

1. Cancelled or voided matches

Entry fees are held in atomic escrow. Refunds fire automatically to your wallet when a match or tournament is voided, cancelled before start, or fails matchmaking.

2. Technical issues

If a contest cannot be played due to a verified platform-side technical issue, entry fees are refunded to your wallet after review. Ordinary in-game performance issues are not eligible.

3. Duplicate payments

Duplicate deposit charges are auto-detected during reconciliation and reversed to your source payment method within 5-7 business days.

4. Wallet refunds vs source-account refunds

Wallet balance is refunded instantly for contest cancellations. Refunds to the original payment source (card / UPI / netbanking) are used for duplicate charges and settle within your bank's timelines (typically 5–7 business days).

5. Non-refundable items

Entry fees for completed contests you lost are non-refundable. Platform fees on winning payouts are non-refundable.

6. Disputes

Disputed match outcomes are reviewed within 24 hours. If your appeal succeeds, entry fees and prize adjustments credit to your wallet immediately.

7. Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests can be cancelled while still in "pending" status. Once processed, funds settle to your bank account and cannot be reversed.
