Skill-based disclosure: BattleGrid hosts skill-based esports competitions. Outcomes are decided by player performance — not chance. This policy describes how we handle data for account, wallet, competition and support purposes.
1. Information we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), BGMI in-game identifiers, KYC information required for wallet and payouts, device and session metadata, and match/result data generated by your use of the platform.
2. How we use your information
To operate accounts and wallets, run competitions, verify eligibility, prevent fraud and cheating, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session security, and optional analytics cookies to measure product performance. You can control non-essential cookies from your browser or our cookie preferences page.
4. Analytics
We use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand how features are used, measure reliability, and improve the platform. Analytics data is aggregated and, wherever possible, pseudonymised.
5. Third parties and subprocessors
We share information with payment gateways (for deposits, payouts and reconciliation), KYC providers (for identity checks required for paid contests), communication vendors (email/SMS/push), cloud hosting and observability providers — strictly to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data.
6. Payments and wallet
Payment card details are handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment partners; BattleGrid does not store full card numbers or CVVs. Wallet transactions are recorded in a ledger for reconciliation, audit and dispute resolution.
7. Security
Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Access to production systems is restricted, logged and reviewed. We follow least-privilege access controls, keep audit trails for sensitive operations, and monitor for anomalies.
8. Retention
We retain financial and KYC records for the period required by Indian law. Other personal data is retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymized on account closure, subject to legal holds.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@battlegrid.in.
10. Children
BattleGrid is strictly 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will remove it immediately.
11. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 15 days before they take effect.
